About the firm
Edward Whitfield, CPA, hung his first shingle in downtown Tampa in 1948. His son Ed Jr. joined in 1976. The firm today employs eleven CPAs, including the founder's grandson and namesake, and serves over 600 small-business and individual clients across Florida.
We're known for what we don't do: we don't push you into products you don't need, we don't disappear after April 15th, and we don't outsource your bookkeeping to offshore vendors. We answer the phone. We return calls the same day.
